Narayana Health, one of India’s largest and World’s most economical healthcare service providers is set to emerge as a global industry model for its ability to reconcile quality, affordability, scale, transparency, credibility and sustainable profitability.
While the NH group earlier had IT applications and systems installed at all its hospitals, the legacy nature of deployment led to facility specific data silos, making organizational and group-wide information visibility difficult. Having embarked on an aggressive capacity expansion plan of 5000 to 30,000 beds in 5 years, NH sought an ICT partner, whose products & technology services, could take care of the rapidly expanding scale of operations, provide enterprise wide visibility on costs, clinical workflow empowerment, and an engaged patient experience.
The cloud-hosted multi-tenant HINAI instance @ NH serves over 12000 users, who care for over a million patients annually. All NH facilities, including 20+ hospitals, and a connected network of affiliates, are now depending fully on the system for day-to-day operations. HINAI has successfully leveraged network collaboration and web technologies, designed for interoperability and meaningful empowerment of care-givers and patients with mobility and e-services.
